She received her award from leading UK broadcast news presenter Nick Ferrari to a huge round of applause from members of the Institute who had gathered for its annual general meeting. Tanya has been recognised for her outstanding campaigning for Open Justice and challenging judges imposing unjustifiable reporting bans in the Northern Ireland judicial system.
