Style Tips. Jon Smith Essential Reporting (2007) words on fairness. Peter Barron former editor of Northern Echo: ‘Make sure everything you write is balanced- & that doesn’t mean adding a paragraph of denial on the end of 14 paragraphs of claims & accusations.’
